Panu Chakarbakar Poem by Manira Khan

Panu Chakarbakar

There was an ox
Who behaved like a fox.

He lived in a place called Nwadip
By a river which was so deep.

People named him Panu chakarbakar
As he chased all every time like a police car.

He was so notorious for his madness
Though he was fifty nine years of age.

One day a girl of eighteen
Walked along the road but avoided him.

Seeing her a red cap wearing
He was angry and chasing.

When the girl started shouting
Some boys went there running.

They took few pieces of bamboo.
On seeing them the ox ran like a roe.

Then suddenly he fell into a big hole
The boys kicked him as if he was a ball.

Thus the mad ox Panu Chakarbakar was killed.
Some vultures became so happy to have such meal.
