' ' ' ' ' Palm Reader(For Lyn)

Rating: 2.8

She, cautiously:
examined every inch

of my heartline
aware of all my love's

ups & downs
happinness & mishaps.

I watched her
unable to take my eyes

off of her

fascinated as now
she traced my life line

as if she walked herself
in my every footstep.

Paused: as if

she had seen
(something she had seen)
that should remain
(Unseen)

until it happened
&
then

it happened

whether in fear
of waht the future

may bring
some great unknown thing

she...
...took to wing

disappeared
into summer

a ladybird
(invisible now)

bright as any
nursery rhyme.

I am not sure I want to know what the future brings...but this is soft and lovely...as she 'disappeared into summer.'
