Painting Shadows Poem by Phil Soar

Painting Shadows

I like to paint shadows
Fooling those that bounce from off the sun
Strange and mystifying art
Too complex for some
Looking back across them
I notice they're not real
No outline matches data
No evidence revealed
Where no sun shone, these shadows
Cast there spell upon a wall
No story to their mystery
No purpose there at all
A 'Banksy' with no meaning
Just reflections of a thought
An image with an outline
A drawing that's self taught
