Our Earthly Life's A Miracle Poem by Dr John Celes

Our earthly life's a chain of miracles;
From womb to tomb, our existence is God's;
The things we do are not just on our own;
Life's moment each is pre-destined by God.

God plans our stay on earth and what we do;
Liberty full, He gives each one of us;
'Tis left to us to do His will/ purpose;
The loving God has chosen everyone.

Our parents, lineage are destined by Him;
He gifts us talents for His glory's sake;
He permits us to go astray in life;
The Shepherd goes in search of His lost sheep.

Each micro-second passes by God's will;
Our caring God is watching each creature;
God sees the heart and knows our every thought;
But man forgets the importance of God.

Each cell is formed and functions as He tells;
Our actions change the course of life's events;
If things go wrong, we blame the Almighty;
If successful, we forget role of God.

Man can't create a tiny thing with life;
God breathed life into Adam by His Word;
From Adam's rib, God fashioned woman Eve;
From second Eve Mary, God's Son was born.

Thus God entered the creature man through love;
He sent His Son to absolve sins of men;
His endless love has opened heaven's gate;
Eternal life with God is for pure hearts.

Man's blind to myriad miracles God does;
Man's ungrateful to Maker who made him;
The righteous walk in road to God's city;
God never wants a soul to land in hell.

But satan liar misleads every soul;
He wants the creature man to end in hell;
He tries his best to tempt each man all life;
But love of God and grace redeems most men.

Each person's life is full of miracles;
God's love prevents man doing mortal sins;
Repentance gains God's forgiveness for all;
Why should we then miss God's eternal bliss?
