Our Dreams Poem by David Harris

Our Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes our dreams
when they come true
are not all what
we thought they would be.
Some hold a little disappointment
that you can never share.
Some show a little promise
then flicker like a candle light
before being extinguished
by the cold wind at night.

Dreams are how we think it will be, then comes the cold waters of reality... Andy 10

The absence of dreams are as troubling as dreams that come true. Wonderful poetic insight here David.
