One Wish
If I had one wish
I wouldn't wish for riches or gold
I wouldn't wish for kingdom and courtyards
I would wish for Nigeria
I would wish for the peaceful, happy Nigeria I once knew
Where peace and unity filled the rather dusty air
Where everybody, no matter your tribe would dance under the sun
And would exalt the beautiful country called Nigeria
That is my wish
And I know that it will come true
