one who never falters
one who never hangs his head
one who sings and erases shadows
cuts out the forlorn sighs
rearranges and adjusts and does dusting in your life
doesn't just play doctor
(he knows, he has experience)
wards off the evil spirits
one for luck and pride and safety,
bringing lucky, safe, warm feelings
one who never dies to leave a scar upon your heart
one
one who remembers
one who takes the time to tell the tale
of how you met and where you're going
shares and listens, supports and stays
forgives and includes and responds and loves
sheds the riches never needed
seeks the island never mapped
one who never waits around, one who tastes the earth
one with God and biting wit
who teaches lessons every day
one who satisfies your dream
in every sense
in every way
