In a concrete wall
Innocent and beautiful
Standing tall
Proud unpretentious
A lesson to us all
One single buttercup

How did it get there
No one knows
It's been there forever
Every year it grows
Surviving all-weather
Never scared to fall
One single buttercup
In a concrete wall
