I know this day would come.
When my world would come undone.
Why can't you stay with me?
I need you, can't you see?
And I don't want you to go.
I can't take this no more.
I don't know if I have what it takes.
And what a sad time this day makes.

I wish I knew what I said.
That made you think my love was dead.
So that I could right the wrong.
Because I don't think I can go on.
Without you here with me.
Because you unlock my heart with your key.
You have what it is I need.
And I hope that this does the deed.

Don't go into that black day
don't leave me this way.
Don't show that you don't care.
Don't do it because its not fair.
I'll tell you what you want to hear
I'll do anything to keep you here.
and theres nothing I won't do
to spend one more day with you.
