One Hundred Not Out
There they sit
My poems, a collection
Now numbering more than a few
The hundredth soon due
Perhaps I should write clever
Capture life's momentum
Or recite in ancient rhymes
Like some Shakespearean imitation
Maybe I should type in a style
Discover sonnets and haiku
Craft well written lines
For that readership of mine
If any are reading at all
Otherwise this is just another poem
The hundredth an all
