Once



once is a promise
but it is never what is real.
Twice, thrice and more
because true love is never once
it is immeasurable.

once is a resolve
but it can never solve
the crisis of what is
love stolen.

once and for all,
you make that decision,
to jump from this cliff of doubt
into the uncertainty of death.
