On There Way Poem by David Darbyshire

On There Way

Rating: 5.0

I was sitting on the side of the road
Sat down for 5 min's, to relieve my load
it was a nice sunny Saturday morning
all the people were on their way shopping

First to come by, all on bikes
was a very pretty woman
With a really big bunch of Flowers
she was in Love, taking the flowers to her man

Second was a man with a Dog
he was on the bike cause he couldn't Jog
Third a woman with a Child
They were very nice and both smiled

Forth one I thought was strange
I could see clearly, I was at close range
She was carrying a big bag full of Toilet-Roll's
Her face was squeezed tight,
as if problems with her Bowels?
