A soft warm wind
blew you back to me
life’s breath returned
Your soul floated
through the air
and touched mine

Your fingers trace
around a curve
and then caress my face
I breathe a sigh,
shift closer to you
and want for nothing

Sparkling blue pools
shine their love on me
Arms of steel
wrap around me
Luscious lips
envelope mine

From those lips
come the wisest words
gentle kindness
noble presence
quiet strength
a safe haven

I worry and wonder no more
