On The Wall Poem by Mushtaque B Barq

On The Wall

Edges, blades and cuts
Rosary, recitation and meditation
Bleeding breast, brushed ribs
Scorched veins, fumed vitals and but a pulsating heart
The sun, moon and stars

The liquid of flames
Feeding, nursing and caring for wise and wisdom
Silken thorns and tips
The horned hero and mighty army no where seen
Yet the strength and blade

A snake around neck
Devoid of venom, honey and the wildest wine
No terror, no track
A rejected rope of the Garden and the Gardner
Held by lord Krishna

Victim, victory
History and mystery, a tale and a verse
Love upon the love
Loyalty, security and the submission
Sob and sigh, the wind.
