On The Bridge Stone Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

On The Bridge Stone

Rating: 2.4

A while goes silent
Wounds deep and the Messiah
The evening had seen
Heavy pour of rain
The reverberation of pain
Moist cold wind to the heart
Like the cypress standing tall
And still
Absorb the air and all nourishment
From the generosity of your love
Neither happy nor sad
Floating on the wood plank
Of life
Smoothly sailing time
This direction is towards you
Indifference towards many things
Perfection is when nature
Neither laughs nor cries
On the bridge stone
In my loneliness
I see your presence
Even with my eyes closed
