Oh, Ominous Moon,
I hesitate to pledge my love for you
Grimly I stare into your core
Waiting for something more
than just your radiant appearance.
Rarely have I stood here and whispered
loudly to you
Bleak Lord of Mine,
I implore for your warmth;
entreating the cold to fade;
marveled by your warm embrace
May my weary heart beat for another day
I shall distinctly crave no more
My hunger shall be repent once more
on this dreary night
