Olympians Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Olympians

They call us the Olympians of Greece and Rome
That's because Olympus is our abode and home
The lonely Immortals of the infinite universe
Filling up the pages of the Bible with books and verse
We are the sum of all creation in the present and past
For we will be here forever and until the very last
We are your God and mighty creator
Your wise teacher, master and benefactor
We are the sun, moon and the planets in the distant space
But Olympus is still our home and our joyful place
Until we realized that we could never die
So we chose to laugh and chose to cry
The show we follow are the lives of each person
Which we enjoy watching everyday and learn a lesson
Every character and attitude of each man or woman
Came from us and embedded in every single one
We are one lonely but happy family
Each one has its own powers respectively
We cannot exactly remember how long we've lived
But for humanity the rewards are ours to give
We fought against each other during World War Two
Even the movie Star Wars is our story if you only knew
We are not perfect in a sense that we punish and kill
But in every tragedy and disaster there are moments to heal
We will all be waiting for you on the other side
For those lost and confused we will be your guide
This is the message from the Olympians of Olympus
Whatever happens tomorrow may have a sense and purpose
