Old Grump Poem by art kuttler

Old Grump

There was an old grump, who sat upon a
stump, like a bump he sat on that
stump,
day after day
watching the children play,
just waiting to say
out of my yard you'd better stay,
your ball I'll keep
&
make you weep,
at your heals my dog's will nip,
I'll laugh as you
call for mom,
with nothing better to do
just remember
the bump on the stump
is watching
you,
in every city and every
town
a bump on a stump
can be found,
so take a good look around
if a bump on a stump
can't be found
it might just be
you
