Old And Gray Poem by Debra DeVeney

Old And Gray

Grandpa, Grandpa
old and gray
You moan and groan
Then cuss and pray.

Putting your glasses on
setting your teeth in
with creaky bones
your day will begin.

Grandma, Grandma
old and gray
you mumble and grumble
Grandpa can't hear anyway

Grabbing your cane
put on your glasses
you yell at Grandpa
for being slow as molasses.

Grandma and Grandpa
old and gray
living life to it's fullest
spite how you start the day!
