Oh, Taxi Cab Driver Poem by michael Smajda

Oh, Taxi Cab Driver

Oh, taxi cab driver,
Take me to Sad Town
And drop me off
Where no one's around,
I want to be alone
The rest of the night,
You see, my girl and me,
We had a bad fight.

Oh, taxi cab driver,
In the morn, I may call
And have you stop by
Taxi me back to my doll.
If she hasn't cooled down
And doesn't want me back,
There's more than one bee
In a honey bee hive, Jack!
