Oh God Poem by Lance Carthen

Oh God

There's a baby crying in the darkness.
The mother left it for lust.
Everyday there's another victim.
To sin in God we trust.

Have you ever wished that you were dead?
Or could think but couldnt be seen?
Seems you have already freed your devil's.
Never again to be clean.

My mind is filling and slowling killing
Emotions that were hurting me.
My heart is falling, the angel's calling
To a part of me that can no longer be.

Have you ever tried to kill somebody?
Did the thought feel good in your head?
Now youve crossed the line and cant go back now
Compassionless and dead.
