Offering Poem by Sarvesh Kulkarni

Offering

Rating: 5.0

I am unaware
of myself today,
some emotions evoke,
so sublime,
that they dry up
even before flowing through my eyes.

O my lord,
bless me with your appearance.
Flow endlessly through my eyes.
And in the trickling warmth,
let me offer myself
to your unending faith in me.

And to your sweet touch,
let the viscosity melt in me.

Empty my being,
to its utmost penury.
...Penury rightfully mine,
earned, by surrendering
my riches, like water,
from my palms,
facing the sun.

And thus creating a hollowness,
only for you to abide.

The true poet is always unaware of himself when he is creating. Lovely work. Warm regards, Sandra

'Yo Vedha Nihitham Guhayam Parame Vyoman'...thus says Vedic Philosophy... that means 'he who knows, it is in the vast hollowness of heart inside HE abides'... eternal truth very beautifully expressed, Sarvesh...you are drifting on a superior thought level along with your poem here...10
