Ode To October's Splendid Beauty Blessed Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

Ode To October's Splendid Beauty Blessed

Oh, October, thou art a painter bold,
With palette dipped in autumn's richest hues,
A tapestry of red and yellow, told,
In every leaf that in the wind pursues.

The air grows crisp, a whisper of the frost,
Yet still the sun casts warm and golden light,
As nature's vibrant blooms have long been lost,
Thy fading grace, a melancholic sight.

In every falling leaf, a masterpiece,
A farewell dance in hues of crimson, gold,
The forest's floor, a carpet of release,
In thy embrace, a story to be told.

The harvest moon, it rises full and round,
A silvery orb in the midnight's sky,
Its soft, enchanting glow, a tranquil sound,
In October's dreams, where poets sigh.

In this splendid decay, there's beauty found,
A quiet elegance, a bittersweet,
October's art, a world in colors bound,
A masterpiece that makes our hearts complete.

So, to thee, October, we raise a toast,
For in thy grace, we find both life and rest,
A season's end, a time to wander most,
Ode to October's splendid beauty blessed.
