thank you
for the poems that elevate us beyond ourselves
thank you
for the new world that we have gone into
thank you
for destroying the walls and borders of this world
thank you
for making us marvel beyond the ordinariness of our lives
thank you
for letting us see the stars above us
thank you
for making us understand that there are still things that we do not understand
and yet so transcending
beyond politics
beyond history
beyond time
that despite the oscillations the link has not been broken
man and God, man and man, man and his world.
