Number The Emotions Poem by Violet Llewellyn

Number The Emotions

One act of kindness
Two hands raised in faith
Calling out to you
From a brilliant pool of light
The edges sharing with your soul

Three smiles this afternoon
And four from this morning
Add up to bring one from you
This isn't math, it has no rules
This is love

Five cards on your birthday
And six in December
Come and make you merry
These holidays are not perfect
There's just more good than bad

Seven's the magic number
It brings together
Kindness, faith, mirth, merry, and more
So often lost
And now they're found
