Why are you lost?
Is it because you're empty?
Or is it because you're overwhelmed?

You can try filling the void all you want
But it will never change the fact
That there is a void

It rends asunder
As it soothes your scars;
It's a never-ending loop

As you find yourself in others,
Chasing the mirage that never existed,
You end up losing your sanity

You are a puzzle
And your fragments
Are scattered beyond your reach

Sentiments become futile
As the fading colors of this iridescent world
Capture your achingly blinded eyes

And there's no turning back
When the bottle of your soul shatters,
Spilling all of what used to be whole.
