Within the Darkness of the lonely day,
You my friend, are the shining light tonight.
The clock ticks timelessly, but I’m alright.
Because you are my love, my hidden pathway.

I will follow your words, what will you say
Because this feeling, is too strong to fight
your burning light, granted to me, my sight
Oh, my love spread your wings, take us away

And in your words are my sanctuary,
The look, within your eyes, eternal loss
As i watch, you look for a truer love
In my heart you are not arbitrary
But meant for each other like the tree and moss
guiding one ‘nother when there are no stars ‘bove
