it's time to pick up these feet and find something better to do,
so im putting on my shoes headed out the door
, blinking back tears holding back bad thoughts,
and putting on a big fake grin to trick all the world,
but at night i can fool no one,
there's a small war in my head when your not there to bring the peice, instead of laying in bed and resting my head i am pacing and going insaine,
cause i can't sleep no longer with out talking to you
. i have fallen hard before but never so deep,
i have gotten lost before in others words but never so far as the place you take me,
before i could have wished for the world and could never decide exactly what to wish for
but now i know i am the luckyest girl when i hear from you,
and when i lay in bed at night after we talk i hope to dream of you..
so here i go picking up these feet trying to find something better to do, putting on my shoes
heading out the door,
