Not Gone But Close(Tribute To A Great Friend: Ologunde Gbenga Mr.)

Oh! the time and times
My heart skipped with the fright
My chest was quickly pounding still
As the blade pierces the skin
Waiting to be seen with the flowing rivers
When the night approaches
And with it the sleep
And now, the question arises
Which no man can answer.
Even though you're gone
In our heart you will be
Always: till Jesus decend.
My siblings only I know
Having the same name we share
And then I told God in a play of thoughts'
Am I the only owner of this name 'OLOGUNDE'?
And luckily we met
I was so glad because I met someone with my father name but from another parent.
The dreams we share
Remember! the foundation launching anticipated!
You promise to attend!
And outside the window of our heart, we laughed and gist
We were enraptured by the fantastic stories of our future and past
One to One we shared our aspirations
And promise to birth the future with, come what may!
But now you left the dreams and plans to me alone.
You may be far; but still you're near.
But what can we do
But God know all
I believe He knows why
Happily we shall meet again
With Jesus and other saints
Happy we shall be;
With Jesus forever.
Till then!
God be with you till we meet again.
R I P. My Brother, Friend and Mentor!
GOODNIGHT.
Miss U so dearly.
