she runs from her pain thats stalks her in the night love that broke her her mother that hit her and life that turned its back on her she can never return to the life she once knew its time to move on the light for she lays on the grass at midnight the street light shines on her she doesnt know where to go for who would help her shes just a teenage lost in this world then she knew what she had to do she got on her knees and prayed for the lord to help her she walks toward the sunlights off to a better life hoping for the best
