Norw Esters Pour All Off A Sudden Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Norw Esters Pour All Off A Sudden

The day broke
The sun peeped out
I smiled to open the door and windows
And let the sun visit my room
Sun is always welcome during the morning
My heart started to sing
In praise of sun god
He is the Lord
of the day to keep us comfortable and warm

Alas! Dark clouds engulfed the sky
Birds stopped to fly
Morning walkers sped up for home
Gusty winds blew
Branches from the trees fell off
Electricity made a full stop
Darkness everywhere
Nothing seems fair
A beauty was born
The fierce wind and the dark sky had a story to tell
Not a picture of heaven or that of hell
That the morning sky painted on the canvas
It reminded me of song spiritual addresses to Goddess Kali
Dark disheveled dance in the storm with rage to wipe out evil
I hum the line: "Ulangini nache rananrange"or the naked Kali dance with the spirit of rage
Which I relate toreaders in this page
Of how I perceived
It is what we received
From Nature who showed us we are just puppets in Her hand
If she wants we can be down on the sand.
