No One Gets Out Alive Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

No One Gets Out Alive

A good friend wrote to me:

I am just 38.
I have been
diagnosed with
brain cancer.

I could last a
few years
if I am lucky.
But I am still
loving life
because life
is beautiful.

I am grateful
for everyone I love.

Life is just a
gift so enjoy it
and cherish it
every moment.

Nobody gets
out alive in any way.
