No One Poem by Korinn Theriault

No One

No one will ever see who I could be
Alone is how I will always stand
They all ignore the girl who was only three

I thought someone did once love me
But he then slapped away my cold hand
No one will ever see who I could be

I lived far away from them and he
I wander alone in the empty land
They all ignore the girl who was only three

Dust clouds in the air so none can see
No food grows in the barren sand
No one will ever see who I could be

For being who I am there is a fee
To live alone in a place so bland
They all ignore the girl who was only three

Everyone is alive and oh so free
While I stay here alone tired and
No one will ever see who I could be
They all ignore the girl who was only three
