No More Sunlight: ( Poem by Nadine Melinda Kodi

No More Sunlight: (

If I ever see him again, I may not have words to say,
He took advantage of my innocence, he took the sunlight from my day.
I try to wash myself, but the stains won't go away. I wear disgust as if it were my clothes.

Rapist!

You will feel better is what they say.
All I want is the sunlight back in my day.
