No More Running After Stupid Purpose Poem by Subhadip Bhattacharya

No More Running After Stupid Purpose

The road to the east lies
Where redemption comes.
That I will not lean back to the horizon,
But after a while
Will recognize the rising sun
And walk towards it,
The way to the east.

This world holds much more
Than what we can possibly imagine.
That our purpose is not over
Till the dying day.
East leads the way to work
Without expectations.
That's where my road lies.

To the way of the rising sun
The power of whom
Shall make me crisp and dry again.
Light body and with a
Soul whose burden has been lifted.
And new work has been given.
Stupid Purpose don't matter,
But just work and be fine.
