No More Dreams Poem by Joe Lansing

These dreams that once were in my brain
Have slowly caused me to go insane
This lack of reality in my life
Has punctured my dreams like the sharpest knife
I use to love these fantasies
They made me feel like I was free
But these dreams aren't so sweet no more
So I'll Just sink into the floor
I wish that things were still so innocent
But that feeling is gone the real life got rid of it
So here I lay down to sleep
No more dreaming I'm in to deap
