No matter what I do
Or where I may go
You always have that love
Built up inside just to show

You are very special
You are a great little friend
When I'm down about something
You help my spirit to mend

No matter where we go
Even if it's just for a ride
You are always ready to go
Just stretched out on your side

Few friends are ever gifted
To do the things you do
Just some of the highlights
That I like about you

When I'm down in the dumps
Most friends will sit there like a log
But that's what makes you special
You're always my friend, you're my dog
