It went by so quickly
The way we ended
Everything you said to me
It's just like you pretended

You moved on so fast
Like I didn't even exist
I hoped we could last
But I guess that's not going to happen

Every person after you
Just made me realize my love for you even more
Every single day
My heart is feeling sore

I just wish I could go back
And you'd take me in your arms
Everyday with me
Keeping me safe from harm
