No Heating Poem by Micron

No Heating

Rating: 5.0

Yesterday was very cold
Below zero so I’m told
I went out to get some food
Although I wasn’t really in the mood
The car read minus 3 degrees
You could really feel the cold breeze
And when the shop was complete
I drove back to my street
On opening up my door
I thought its cold at start I did ignore
Then with the shopping all away
I examined the boiler without delay
There to my great horror
I found myself in a spot of bother
Cos the boiler was completely dead
What more could be said
So I called a 24hr repairman
Who looked and said u need a fan
He left me then till the next day
As he needed stuff he did say
So left in a building cold
In the living room an electric little heater to behold
That night I slept on the settee
As it seemed the warmest place to be
And this evening he did fix
Radiators on did the tricks
So now tonight I will have a warm bed
And I know I have been well fed
It makes me realise my good luck
For others with no roof things must suck
