you didn't have to give me a better life
you didn't have to come to my rescue
but you did and you healed the hurt I had inside
it was a fight,
but you refused to loose
and I wanna thank you
you brought me to the light
when my world was dark
you showed me I was capable of anything
and I know that it was hard
you made me into a better person
and it took alot to take away what I was hurtin
but you never gave up
knowmatter what
knowmatter how tough
you never let me down
and when others did
you stuck around
and was there to pick me up
when I was to the ground
when I ain't even want to be
you showed me there was a better life to be lived
you loved me
you didn't have 2
but you did
and I love you for this
no dad is greater
sure we have our moments
but we always make up later
and if it weren't for you dad,
who knows where i'd be
I love you
