Nine days of Ma

Worshiping Feminine energy
The various moods of female deities
Mother, protector Nurturer, annihilator
As they work in synergy.

Dancing the cosmic dance
In deep meditative trance
Women and men, come together
For no one wants to loose this chance

The irresistible sounds of drums
Fills up my hollow,
where heart resides in its urn
But yet never touched
By even the heart warming rays of Sun

For those few hours
I was not the same Nalini
Identity sublimated
Into pure energy
