Night's Vigil: When Dreams Ignite Poem by Saliu Muideen

Night's Vigil: When Dreams Ignite

In the depths of the night, the stars aglow,
A tale unfolds, of toil and woe.
Successful souls, with fiery might,
Stay awake, driven by a relentless fight.

Through twilight's embrace, they labor on,
Burning midnight oil till the dawn.
Their dreams unfurl, like feathers taking flight,
As they conquer the darkness, embracing the light.

While the world slumbers, in tranquil repose,
The ambitious hearts, their passion grows.
They sacrifice sleep, their eyes wide awake,
For every moment, a chance they won't forsake.

With resolute purpose, they forge their way,
In the stillness, where dreams hold sway.
While others dream beneath the moon's soft gaze,
They're crafting a future, setting ablaze.

Yet let us not forget, in fairness we speak,
That slumbering souls hold tales unique.
The poor and humble, their struggles are real,
Their battles fought with unwavering zeal.

Success knows no boundaries, nor rests on fate,
It's born from effort, regardless of state.
For it's not in slumber or wakefulness alone,
But in resilience and perseverance sown.

So let us strive, awake or asleep,
To chase our goals, our promises to keep.
For in the tapestry of life's arduous plight,
Success is woven, both day and night.
