Night Spirits

Don't cry yourself to sleep tonight
And think I'm not about
You sometimes feel me with you
But you always have a doubt

So many spirits walk around you
As you go about your day
You don't realise how much we help
In our very special way

We help to soothe your sorrow
When you lose the ones you love
We help to get a message to you
From their spirits up above

So don't cry yourself to sleep tonight
As we are there in your dream state
It was my time to leave the earth
So don't fill your mind with hate

When you wake up in the mornings
For no reason your full of glee
Because I've been beside you all night
You could feel, but could not see
