Night Flight To Roanoke Poem by Bernard Henrie

Night Flight To Roanoke

Rating: 3.5

Suddenly, on a flight to Roanoke
I think of you in a dotted dress
leaning into humid summer air,
your bare shoulders and back
covered with ivory tainted moon,
the words you gave for clearing-out,
your angry words lost in prop wash.
