Newton's Cradle Poem by Twisted Moon

Newton's Cradle

Rating: 5.0

Me and you are kinetic balls on a pendulum,
Our lovers come and go,
Bouncing off of us, sometimes violently,
But no matter what happens,
Me and you are in the middle,
Not budging, sticking together,
At least we do emotionally,
And I feel like it will last forever.

When I'm kissing her, I'm missing you,
And I think you feel the same way too,
I know you feel the warm butterflies,
Every time we look into each other's eyes,
You start to laugh and I know,
Exactly where this is going to go,
You smile in that sexy way that you do,
And all I want in this world is you,
I hold you tightly in my arms,
Until the loud suite doors raise the alarm,
We make up some dorky conversation so no one knows what we are doing,
So nobody knows the shallow lives we are pursuing
