New Year 2022



Sitting back today in a New Year
Thinking of the news I did hear
Of some gentle souls who have departed
And others I held strong who to me were martyred

Each day itself dawns so crystal clear
As I hold close to me those I hold dear
And remember times past that were worth a smile
While others memories are placed away a mile.
