I-s sure to brightly shine;
W-ith old yesterday gone,
E-arly morn is truly fine.
L-et new day in September eleven be bathed with sunlight;
L-et the dawn smoothly break to set the feelings aright.

M-ake new day in September eleven
A-llow the cold chill to be warm;
R-ainy night yields to the beacon,
K-ind weather keeps you from harm.

B-etter day in September eleven
A-ffirms the million mirth;
L-onely evening has turned
I-nto glad gleam of your birth.
N-ow as you thank God for
D-elight and seventh heaven;
A-sk the Lord to make it
