Never To Awaken
Never to awaken,
From a waking dream.
To never open your eyes,
And witness reality.
To hide your head in the sand,
Like some monstrous bird.
To live in a world,
Devoid of truth,
Coated with sugar frosted flakes.
And to finally realize,
Life has passed you by.
