Never Losing Hope Poem by Ray Hansell

Never Losing Hope

Rating: 5.0

Listening to the rain
Falling from the sky
Sitting here alone
Asking myself why

Each day is spent alone
Each night is so lonely
I lay in the dark and wonder
Will I find my one and only

Oh, I've been in love before
At least a time or two
But the bond of love
Must be felt by two

No sense to be in love
When you're the only one who cares
Then at night you lay in bed
Wondering why you're even there

Believe me I'm not bitter
Nor am I anti-love
I just think it would be great
To have a special one to think of

A new love poem, fresh off the press! Not losing hope is wise. Love will come back to you, when you least expect it! Live each day with an attitude of expectancy. And by all means, please keep churning out these lovely contemplative poems! They speak to the human condition, and are so relatable!
