Nerves Poem by Born Frustrated

Nerves

palms sweating
lips quivering
eyes widening
as I see you draw near

Oh, god make it stop
if it dosent end soon she may hear the beats of my heart
as she gets closer it speeds up
enough, so it slowly tears apart

with that grin
her arms they open
as She almost screams my name
we hug, as true friends tend to do

I spent the rest of the nite wondering what could be, or have been
to tell my feelings is hard
so I simply wrote this poem
even though
she will never know
that this is for her
